These works reference the book "Morel's Invention" by Argentinean writer Adolfo Bioy-Casares, a novel that may have inspired the script for the film Last Year at Marienbad (although never acknowledged by Alain Resnais and Alain Robbe-Grillet.)

The series digitally combines the German pavilion for the 1929 International Exposition in Barcelona, designed by Mies van der Rohe, with the tropical landscape.
